Title:
BI Report Developer (Remote) Basic Functions:
Develops data reports and business intelligence (BI) dashboards used by analysts, data scientists, and various applications.
Engages with the Data Analysts and Product Owners with gathering requirements for ensuring data accuracy.
Works with the Database Administrator on ensuring that report queries perform properly.
Converts reports from legacy formats to modern technologies.

Develops reports using various tools that are used by Data Analysts and applications.
2.
Creates stored procedures used by reports and applications to retrieve and manipulate data elements.
3.
Works with the Database Operations team to ensure that queries perform properly.
4.
Coordinates development of BI dashboards with the Data Science team.
5.
Converts reports written in legacy technologies to work with a modern technology stack.
6.
Creates routines for importing or exporting data using an ETL framework.
7.
Recommends improvements to existing tools, reports, or processes.
8.
Works independently to accomplish the goals of the project and teams.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in a related IT field.
Work experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Three or more years of report development with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Three or more years of working with Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL (T-SQL) One or more years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Two or more years of experience with Microsoft PowerBI development Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Exposure to Crystal Reports or other reporting platforms is a plus.
