7a - 4p, Monday, Wednesday & Friday; this is a part-time position We are looking for dedicated, part-time Warehouse Associates to join our team.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by receiving, stocking, and picking equipment for our Install team.
You will work closely with the Purchasing Department to maintain inventory accuracy and uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Keeping track of incoming and outgoing products, maintaining accurate records of stock levels, and conducting regular inventory checks.
Receiving:
Inspecting incoming shipments, verifying their accuracy against purchase orders or invoices, and organizing products for storage.
Storage and Organization:
Properly storing items in designated locations within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring that items are easily accessible for picking and staging.
Order Picking:
Selecting items from their storage locations based on project needs, ensuring accuracy.
Quality Control:
Inspecting products for damage or defects upon arrival.
Equipment Operation:
Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Maintenance:
Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, reporting any maintenance or safety issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Data Entry:
Recording and maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and other warehouse-related data.
Safety:
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to products or equipment.
Problem Solving:
Identifying and addressing any discrepancies, errors, or issues that arise in the warehouse operations.
Continuous Improvement:
Suggesting and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy / delicate electronic equipment.
Main warehouse floor is not climate controlled, although a climate controlled office is present/available within the warehouse space.
