Responsibilities Direct and manage all aspects of Palliative Hospice Care in accordance with best practice and Medicare regulations Collaborate with physician and IDT members to plan care Manage the Interdisciplinary team Arrange visits for IDT members as needed Provide support to agency staff Plan and execute excellent patient care Ensure the agency is in compliance with Medicare guidelines Skills Proven experience as hospice registered nurse, palliative care registered nurse or home health registered nurse Knowledge of nursing care processes Committed to safety precautions and high ethical standards Proficient in English Sound judgement ; be able to problem solve Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature Cool-tempered,friendly and patient Ability to lead and direct the care team Management experience Formal nurse training; certification as hospice nurse is a plus but not required Current CPR certificate Must have good understanding of Medcare rules and regulations Salary:
