A proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Teams and Adobe/Nuance is desirable.
The assistant should show correct handling and procedure when e-filing of pleadings in both State and Federal, as well as a thorough understanding of the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedures.
Also needed by the candidate is an understanding and the experience with legal software such as Coyote.
The assistant should have a working knowledge of drafting and editing pleadings.
Candidates must be organized, dependable, self-sufficient, takes direction and follows instructions well.
