Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Security Guard.
The primary role of the Security Guard is to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors.
This position requires strong surveillance skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks - Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances - Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors in emergency situations - Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary - Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred - Strong surveillance skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or potential threats - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - First Aid, CPR, and conflict management certifications are a plus - Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is desirable - Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures is an asset - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for our Security Guard positions.
