Medical Transport Driver

Community Transit Service is currently hiring for full time drivers. We are looking for candidates who are detail oriented, friendly, and possess great customer service skills to perform the duties of a Medical Transport Driver.
At Community Transit Service, you will find a fast paced, exciting environment where you will strive to meet patient healthcare needs by transporting patients to and from their doctor visits, health-fairs, etc.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday day shifts.
Company provides vehicle, fuel, and insurance.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Safely drives and maintains company vehicles.
o Prioritizes and coordinates pick-ups and drop-offs of patients in an efficient manner.
o Interacts with patients and customers that may be of various ages.
o Collects accurate coinsurance payment from patients and makes bank deposits.
o Completes vehicle inspections.
o Communicates vehicle maintenance requirements and assists in getting maintenance completed.
o Works effectively with other company employees, managers, and departments.
Qualifications:
o Must have strong people skills and an interest in helping to improve the lives of others.
o Upon being hired, a valid Chauffeur's driver license or higher must be obtained.
o No moving violations or accidents in the last 7 years.
o Must demonstrate practical knowledge of safe driving techniques.
o Applicant must have a clean state criminal background and federal sex offender check, and clean drug test.
o Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as needed, and have the ability to demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision.
