Administrative Support Specialist

These positions are located in:
Office of Training, Quantico Virginia $59,534.00 - $93,630.00. New Orleans Division, Metairie Louisiana $52,905.00 - $83,210.00. The incumbents will perform the following duties:
Provide services regarding vehicle management, property, contracting, telecommunications and facilities. Provide recommendation to management on policy, or procedural conflicts, provide interpretations based on routine and best practices. Assist with the planning and organization of space for the office and perform administrative duties to support the coordination of office moves, office construction, and other facility improvements. Oversee the preparation and submission of the monthly vehicle report, and performs vehicle management, ensuring timely maintenance, service, repairs and documentation. Prepare documents to obligate funds for repairs, maintenance, licensing and registration fees, and vehicle inspections, and conduct annual year-end closing activities, and performs reconciliation. Performs a variety of procurement, budgetary and administrative functions in implementing or supporting the assigned program, policies, and procedures using UFMS and other related sources. Provides guidance to management on procurement procedures and coordinates with the procurement office as required. GS-09:
Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 Federal grade level performing the following duties:
assisting with administrative and operational support to an office and its subordinate offices in such functions as property/space management, financial management, procurement, general office services, vehicle fleet management, and office supplies and equipment. OR Have Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR Have a combination of education and experience. GS-11:
Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-09 Federal grade level performing the following duties; performing administrative and operational support to an office and its subordinate offices in such functions as property/space management, financial management, procurement, general office services, vehicle fleet management, and office supplies and equipment. OR Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or (3) three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or; an LL.M., if related. OR Have a combination of education and experience Competencies:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
